Fasten your seatbelts - 2015 events calendar kicks off at breath-taking pace
Just as you thought the last of this year's exhibitions were done and dusted, many of you will already be thinking of the 2015 events schedule. The new year promises to kick off at breath-taking pace with three mega shows all taking place in the first half in vastly different locations. Our global capabilities, combined with local expertise and industry knowledge, enable us to work with our clients to take a broader perspective on how to maximise their presence and share of voice at shows within a coherent, integrated, programme structure.
First up is the biennial PlastIndia exhibition which takes place from February 5-10. As you may have read, the venue has now shifted from New Delhi to the new exhibition grounds in Gandhinagar, Gujarat. Given Gujarat is the natural homeland of the plastics processing industry in India, the location makes sense but the sudden shift from New Delhi is causing consternation with exhibitors. The EMG team will be helping clients stand out through all the mayhem, running marketing communications and media relations activities pre, during and post show. We anticipate a full turn-out of local and international trade media for the event, which is expected to surpass previous visitor numbers.
Following PlastIndia, we turn westward to NPE in Orlando, Florida, March 23 -27. Held every three years, the US show is the global plastics industry’s third largest event attracting exhibitors, visitors and media from all around the world. EMG has been working at NPE since the early ‘90’s and 2015 will be no exception. Our teams are already actively working on support programmes involving turnkey stand build services and media relations activities for various clients.
And finally, on the other side of the world, Chinaplas takes place in Guangzhou from May 20-23. The show, now in its 29th year, needs no introduction. Each year it continues to break records and as the world’s second largest plastics event after K is firmly established as a global event. EMG has been working at Chinaplas since 2004, and over the past 10 years we have established ourselves as the leading B2B communications specialist in the plastics and chemicals sectors in China.
