The Inside Track to the Latest K 2019 News
|Posted by Greg Farrett on June 27, 2019|
The theme of K 2019 is “A world of pioneers.” With the plastics industry being hit hard with environmental issues, now more than ever, a pioneering spirit is needed to find solutions to address the current challenges of our era – especially in regards to solutions that support sustainable development and the circular economy.
Seven companies were featured during the EMG Pre K Press Event including: Ascend, Clariant, DSM, INEOS Styrolution, Perstorp, SABIC and Songwon. During the two day event, each of them had the opportunity to present their K 2019 products, stories and innovations to the 25 editors attending.
With over 3,000 exhibitors at the official show and media inundated with invitations it’s sometimes hard to get the media’s attention. The EMG Pre K Press Event solves this problem by setting up time slots for each company to present directly to the trade editors. It also gives the editors time to ask questions and set up future interviews leading up to the show.
This year, in addition to the industry presentations, EMG invited two guest speakers to talk about the transition to a biobased economy and about accelerating sustainable innovation.
Bringing Media and Industry Together
Targeted events like these benefit all participants. At the EMG Pre K Press Event, editors meet several key industry players in a short period of time with minimum disruption. Participating companies benefit by having “guaranteed editorial attention” and sharing the overall organizational and facility costs as well as travel and living expenses of the attending editors.
With over 25 years of communications experience in the B2B market, EMG has built strong connections with international trade media across all verticals. Bringing the media and industry together is what we do best. The EMG Pre K is just one example of what we can for to make sure your message is heard.
