This summer, in advance of the massive, triennial K 2019 trade show in Düsseldorf, EMG is once again organising its Pre-K Multi-Client Press Conference. The event will take place on June 26-27 at the Ter Elst hotel in Edegem (Antwerp).

The following companies already have confirmed their participation for the June press briefing – Ascend, Domo, Clariant, DSM, Ineos Styrolution, Perstorp, Polyscope, SABIC and Songwon.

Our pre-K media event offers companies an opportunity to meet top editors from the European, Asian and North American chemicals and plastics trade press in a focused, relaxed environment – before they get barraged with conflicting invitations and before the doors open on a show that features more than 3,000 exhibitors that fill all 19 halls at the Düsseldorf exhibition centre.

Our experience – and that of our clients – shows that getting the attention of editors well ahead of K is an excellent way to maximise pre-show visibility and raise interest in your participation and news. The resulting publicity can help to drive visitors to your stand to learn more. Otherwise, it is all too easy to get lost in the crowd at the world’s largest plastics show.

We will be pleased to advise you on how best to engage and interact with the attending media – be it via general presentations, Q&A sessions, one-on-one interviews, or a sponsored meal. We’ve learned from our past five pre-K press events that editors appreciate the chance to get a jump start on your latest news and developments via an organized event that maximises their access to key industry executives while minimising their investment in time and travel.

Similarly, participating companies also secure a good return on investment at a relatively low cost by having the ability to meet face-to-face with a guaranteed audience of key international editors in a single day.

Getting your word out well in advance of the show increases the odds of your company getting multiple mentions in K preview issues, while also reinforcing that you will available at K 2019 to meet with existing and potential customers from around the world. Messe Dusseldorf notes that K 2016 attracted 230,000 trade visitors from more than 160 countries, and that 60% of industry decision-makers said they had visited the trade fair with concrete intentions to buy.

Get in touch with us to secure your place at EMG’s Pre-K 2019 press event, and to increase your odds of making the right connections at K in October.
